Library Website Rehab In-Person

Library Website Rehab

With Laura Solomon. A four-part interactive event.

Begins Monday, February 25th, 2019 at 3pm Eastern

Registration limited to 10 participants!

Maintaining a library website is tough. In many ways, the website is the public face of the library—it’s often the first place that patrons and community members engage. But when you’re dealing with running programs, administration, staffing the reference desk, and dealing with circulation, it’s easy for maintaining the website to drop off your radar. If your website has fallen behind the times and needs a major overhaul, then this hands-on learning event is for you. Collaborating with 9 other peers and your instructor, you’ll participate in four live webinars and meet one-on-one with your instructor as you work to enhance your website, so you can provide your library users with the best experience possible.

Library website and leadership expert Laura Solomon will help you learn with and from your peers as you share your experience, concerns, and technical issues with one another.

In your one-on-one consultation with Laura, you’ll have a chance to get direct feedback and advice on your site. This unique combination of small-group support, peer-to-peer learning, and hands-on guidance from the instructor will help you gain the insight, technical knowledge, and confirmation you need to get your site back on track.

You will be asked to complete a confidential questionnaire prior to the first session to assist in informing the breadth and depth of the facilitator’s focus.
